For precise measurements: Sit in a rested position. Keep your finger on the camera and not on the flashlight. Try to keep your finger still and do not shake the device, while taking the measurement. Blood flow should be visible on the screen.

It is preferable to use a high end mobile phone with flash light or tablet for accurate measurements.

Note:
For cameras without flash light, take measurements in a bright environment. Provide ample lighting to pass through your fingers to the Camera. Blood flow should be visible on the Screen and the screen should be red in color.

This app can be used to measure heart beat in front camera available in tablets or in the primary camera of mobile phones/tablets.

Blood pressure is normal, when the heart beat is in the normal range provided in the Chart tab.

Blood pressure will be above normal, when the heart beat is very much beyond the normal range in the normal condition.
